i was wondering if anyone has videos/links to videos/what not of catchers throwing down.

i switched to catcher this year and ive been working on it alot. ive been told i have great mechanics to go with my arm from catcher, but i want to see examples of the best catchers.

any help is greatly appreciated.

thanks

Strongly recommend you contact CatchingCoach. He's probably the best I've seen for teaching the position of catching. Where do you live? (Just the State)

Thanks. Looking at all of them, you can see that they all use the same motion. Pop up and step, with no shuffle.

Also, I'd like to point out that Brian McCann's throw is an absolute laser!

I'd be really interested in finding out though if there is more to the footwork mechanics then what we can see in regular speed. I'm not sure if it is just as simple as "pop up and step." :noidea I am most interested in what the rear foot is doing.....
