Jhonny Peralta. If it is, the Indians win the AL.

Eric Gagne. Of course that can go awry but that changeup will be nasty. Francisco Cordero, Octavio Dotel, Ben Sheets, Jose Guillen maybe. Would Beltre count? He seemed to start putting his slugging together last year as it progressed.
I hope Jason Kubel, but he isn't really coming back from great MLB play too much.

I am PRAYING that it is either Clement or Pineiro.. A bit much to ask for though.

Here's hoping that Josh Towers wins it PLUS a Cy Young award.

Here's hoping that Josh Towers wins it PLUS a Cy Young award.Or, John Thompson. One of the two. That's not asking for too much, is it??

I'm hoping Tim Hudson or Mike Hampton gets it, the Braves need to get a new streak of division championships started.

Bah, humbug. Sammy Sosa? Where'd we get these mere unimaginative types in here from? We really should send them their walking papers! :D ;) :p
I vote for Carl Pavano. The others have at least done something 2 years ago. Unlike Carl, who's most famous thing he'd done was be one of various players traded from Montreal to Boston for Pedro.

I was surprised that no one had mentioned him yet. He seemed like the obvious choice...

Mark Mulder or Tim Hudson have a pretty good chance.

Would Jon Lester count? If so, and if he has a good year, then he'd get my vote.

I really hope that its Carlos Silva. His 2005 was great, but his 2006... :gt

My Comeback POY award goes to Pettitte. A true "comeback" player. I'm happy he's back pitching for the Yankees. Maybe Clemens will share in the award as well. :D

MIKE MAROTH!!!!!
After all, with the Tigers rotation problems....we all know they could use a solid 5th/6th starter :D I bet the 8th guy on the Tigers depth chart would be a 5th starter with most teams. Ramon Colon, perhaps Andrew Miller (Miller would be 8th and climbing) anyone?

Jason Marquis and Rodrigo Lopez are possibilites. The both had absolutely terrible 2006s.

Mark Prior? Kerry Wood? Wade Miller?
As much as I dislike the cubs, I would like to see Kerry Wood have a good year.
