there is one other difference I found between the two pictures that I don't think was mentioned, steveox's has less people in the seats in the upperdecks above the power-allys.

I made these a while ago, the best was 4major. the 5th one was never finished, but it looks the best so far:

(I made them in order of their number, park 1v1, 2, 3, 2v2, 3v2, 4minor, 4major, and the 5th one is a model off of my ballpark in MVP 05 (were in our third season in that) the last time I created a park (4 minor, major) was over last summer.

You've got to be a Baltimorian to understand the love for Memorial Stadium. I saw my first game there, so I cannot not love the place.

lol, it could of been done with power point, a lot of people like to do stuff like this with power point, but I use excel because of the nice open sheet. (yes, I do use excel for what it is made for, but I do this to :D ) I used a lot of auto shapes and lines. mostly shapes I created.

Can someone help me on what I should add onto my ballpark?
--------

1. How would you decorate the exterior? Anyone feel like helping me with the entrance?

2. What could I put in the outfield? I'm stuck. A scoreboard of course.. Patio seating? Idk. What else could I put?

well I tried, but I can't figure out how to run the program.

what do you need behind the OF wall, thats pretty simple, you need a score board and a backdrop of some sort so the batters can see what they are swinging for.

You don't really need anything else for the seating dome, except I got confused and couldn't figure out the left field seating for a while....

...and I don't really know about the exterior, look at some pictures of ballparks and come up with somthing original for it.

Good Luck

edit: you know what it is with the left field line, you need to move the seats back a little and add the warning track.

those seats kind of look like a fence.

I think the angle at which the those seats come out on is to big, but i'm sure the fans that sit on the end of all those rows are loving the view.

You could try lights, scoreboards, ads, A jumbotron, concession stands, parking lot, buildings, etc..,

BTW, is that Google Sketchup?

Hmm, it's cool to see that someone could get it to design ballparks:http://www.baseball-fever.com/showthread.php?t=51913&highlight=Google

I tried to use it myself, but it seems way out of my league...
