Is there a list of players who do NOT sign TTM?

Maybe we should create a list here to save everyone a few stamps.

So far, I've heard Carl Yastrzemski won't sign; and all I got from Kevin Seitzer are what I assume to be rubber-stamped cards.

Oh geez... I'd be here all year typing the list that I have of non signers.
Send me a pm with a list of players or ex players and I will let you know if I had success with them.

Maybe we should make this thread into a public "Does this guy sign?" thread. where people post guys, and if you know he signs or not, you reply.

Could save a lot of stamps!

I'll start...anyone know if Fred McGriff signs TTM? He just took a gig with the Devil Rays as a special assistant/advisor.

As far as failures, I haven't kept great track until this year, but I know I sent to Mike Lowell last year and didn't get a response.

I'll be happy to help out where I can. I guess it's tough to quantify what qualifies as a failure....in other words how much time must pass after you mail to a player with no response before you simply write it off as a failure....6 months, 1 year? I don't know.

I get very few flat out refusals....most of the time I just never hear back from the player. I generally think that if you haven't heard back from a player within a year it's safe to assume that it's a failure. With that as MY criteria for failure I've got about 75 guys that I just haven't heard back from within that time frame.

Please feel free to send me a list of guys that you're thinking of sending to....and I'll let you know if I have any experience with the player. I'm all about saving the stamps if you can!

Or list the price the "player" requests.

Or list the price the "player" requests.
Bob Feller charges $10 per card
Carl Sheib charges $5 per card
Joe Garigiola charges either $5 OR $10 per card ( I forget which one it is)
That's all that I can think of for right now.

There is a thread over on SCN about Josh Fields (white sox prospect) not signing ttm anymore. He never enjoyed it anyway. He said that since he was signed to an exclusive contract with a company, he can't sign ttm anymore. He said that he is also going to limit his IP auto's to 1 per person. Apparently it's about money. The sad fact is that more and more athletes are going this route.

I have seen (I think on this site) someone with a recent success with Jack Morris. Harmon Killebrew asks for a donation, I have the rates if you would like to PM me and I can give them to you. I am unsure about the others.

Has anyone tried anybody on the Mets 40-man roster (www.mets.com and click roster)? I've had success with Oliver Perez, but then again, he was the only guy I tried.

Thanks baliff! Looks like I'll be writing some letters (and using up some of my home-made baseball cards).

Good luck. I traditionally seem to never do to well with the Mets:( . Hopefully you will get some great returns.
