I have been longing to send to Gaylord Perry and Johnny Podres. I am willing to fork up the fees, btu what should I send them?

I'd say, send what you like the best...what looks the best...and what could be signed the clearest. You will get it back if you pay the fee....

I have to agree about sending what you like. Me personally I like action shots. Podres has a great signature that will look good on anything. Just make sure that the background is light enough to show the signature.

padres is asking for 5 bucks an aoutograph... he send my cards back asking for that today.. just letting you no the fee.

I say this in all seriousness....try it yourself. Sign a plastic card holder and then put each card in the holder and see what looks best to you.

What fee does Perry charge? $5 for Podres certainly seems reasonable.

Do you write something like "payment enclosed" on the outer envelope?

I've never sent to anyone who requires payment before...didn't know if they just sent everything back stamped "rejected" or something.

Do the players open the mail and send back fee info in the SASE?

yeah they usualy send it back in your sase with thier paper/flyer asking for your money for themselvs or their charity.

Thanks...are Perry and Podres fees for charity, or are they just a fee? Not that it matters, but was just wondering.

$5 for Johnny Podres is well worth it in my opinion.
FYI: I rarely pay for an auto ttm. I did it one time and got screwed over (this was the fist and last time that I included a check and never got anything back signed from that player).

You know what? I never even thought about that! A tad bit too late now, I recall that I was married at the time. Sadly since then I have changed banks, don't recall what check # it was, and have no clue who it was as it was so long ago. :(
