Well the Rockies picked up another pitcher that had a ERA near 6 last year to go with Buchholz and Hirsh.

Even a 6.00 era stinks for Coors Field.
BTW, what is a link for ERA/HR's and such for each ballpark in 2006?

Lopez has looked good in his first two starts of the season though. In fact, the whole starting rotation has been good so far. Now if the Rox would just score some runs...

How true. Brad Penny owns the Rox.
Bullpen finally put up a goose egg in a losing effort. That is a plus.
The bullpen has already cost us 2 or 3 games by not doing their job.

Only 14 runs scored in the six games played so far on this road trip by the Rockies. That offensive output isn't going to cut it, even though their starters are pitching well (hence the 2-4 record on this trip). This is the opposite of the Blake Street Bomber days when they could score at will but couldn't keep their opponents from scoring either... And the bullpen needs to get better too. At least they didn't give up a run last night.

Who is called up to replace him?
They called up Matt Herges. Herges to the bullpen and I assume that Buchholz will be the 4 or 5 starter.

With Kim and Lopez both on the DL, Buchholz is about the top option. they brought up Zach McClellan after Lopez went on the DL and the Rockies have him in the bullpen.
