Sounds awesome. I can't wait to get a copy!
The Milwaukee Brewers announced today that, as part of the 25th anniversary celebration of the 1982 Brewers, Major League Baseball Productions has produced a 60-minute documentary that will be available for sale on April 10.
The $24.95 video includes a bonus disc which will feature Game 5 of the League Championship Series game against the California Angels at County Stadium.
The documentary is being billed as a behind-the-scenes look at the 1982 season that led to an American League championship and a seven-game World Series against the St. Louis Cardinals.
The DVD is expected to be available at retail locations and at brewers.com. The documentary will be narrated by Brewers broadcaster Bob Uecker.

I am not a Brewers fan, but Harvey's Wallbangers were a fun team to watch and I would be interested in this video. 60 minutes would leave me wanting for more, but it's a start.

That team was amazing. They should have won it all that year. Can't wait for the DVD to come out so I can relive that season - and we'll hopefully win it all this season. Go Brewers!
Prince- this is your year!

How could I miss this?? Very nice indeed.
If I ever figure out how to get the last game of the '82 series onto a DVD, I'll be sure to mail it to anyone who wants to watch.

Anyone else got their copy yet? I have just received mine and I'll finish watching it soon. I'll give my thoughts on it after I have watched all.
What I've seen thus far is really enjoyable.

Definately do yourself a favor and pick up this disc, it is really enjoyable.
Th 70 minute main doco really made me wonder why MLB doesn't make more of these sort of things. It was easily better than the History of the Eagles that NFL Films released (as a point of reference, it's the only other sports DVD I've bought. Though I have seen alot of others). Alot of the story links in the city of Milwaukee and the love affair they had with the team. Quite a few of the guys are interviewed as a part of the doco (Yost, Yount, Molly, Coop, Gorman, Selig to name but a few). My only gripe with it (and it's only a very minor one) is that alot of individual game moments (particularly during the regular season) are not mentioned and it would have been nice to have game by game accounts of all the post season games. But still it's only a 70 minute doco, they are somewhat limited in what can fit on it.
In terms of extras, they chose some really good ones. They have the final half inning of the game when they clinch the division against Baltimore on the last day of the season, similar for the ALCS, excerpts of Younts and Molly's Hall of Fame inductions as well as all the teams post season home runs. The second disc contains game 5 of the ALCS in full (all team bias' aside, it was in my opinion a really good game and one that would have been even better to watch live).
Still, an awesome DVD and one that all Brewer fans should own!
