This is easy, you may not be able to read them all if you're not smart like me. Here is what you must know to be able to read them and what they say:

1) Heiroglyphics - Dave Adlesh

2) Sanskrit - Bobby Etheridge

3) Cuneiform - Shooty Babbitt

4) Dead Sea Scrolls - Jimmy Rosario

Sorry, looks like you got gypped if you paid more than two bucks for the ball. These guys all sucked. Hope that helped.

ttmman, it was a joke. I don't really know who signed this ball. If it helps, I will tell you who it LOOKS like signed the ball:

1) Bo Pit Matt

2) Rad Nyrd

3) Ha Geuffel

4) Bofcttt

Hope that helps more.

Well the top signature in mystery 4 looks like Geoff Jenkins.

These could be Milwaukee Brewers? I'll have do more looking when I get home.

Can you get pictures that don't look like they were taken through glass or plastic or whatever it is? It is hard for me to even get an idea of what might be written because of the....smudginess? of the images.

Also, is the ball any particular official kind of ball? American League, National, minor league? That might give some direction.

A few of these are definitely Braves.

#1: The bottom one looks like Johnny Estrada
#2: No idea
#3: The bottom one is Glenn Hubbard
#4: The middle one is Terry Pendleton

Tough to say who the rest are. Minor leaguers maybe?

If I may suggest that perhaps a regular digicam shot might have a better picture quality result as that kind of image would be more sharply focused and evenly lit as opposed to the scan whose sharpest area would be limited to the contact point of the baseball on the glass....

"1) Bo Pit Matt

2) Rad Nyrd

3) Ha Geuffel

4) Bofcttt"

Whoa! That's so cool! I've always wanted signatures of those guys!! ;)

Hmm...to me, these look like...

1. "B. Pit Jello" or "B. Pot Jallu" or "Big Put John" or something...Could be "B." with a last name over a greeting.

2. That's just illegible enough to pass for "Paul Byrd," ("Rad Nyrd"...I almost busted a gut laughing, but it reminded me) who just happened to play with the Braves.

3. Bottom one is Glenn Hubbard, as mentioned before. The top one looks a little like Greg Maddux, but I doubt it. Really, I have no idea about that one.

4. Middle one on number four, I'm almost sure, is Paul Zuvella. He was another teammate of Hubbard's, 1982-1985. That does not look like Terry Pendleton. The top one might, MIGHT as this is a wild guess, be Garth Iorg. I think he's the only player with the initials "G.I." and the signature clearly starts with a G and the last name starts with an I.

Hmmm. Having been a friend of Paul Zuvella's growing up, as well as playing ball and going to school with him, I will have to break out the old high school annual now and compare signatures....

These are some good guesses, Dalk. Maybe this is a Braves ball....
