How to get started?

Hi, my husband just moved to the US from Cuba. He was a pro player for the Industriales in Havana.

I know the timing is a little off, but we'd like to do what we can to possibly get him seen by the teams, either major or minor, just so long as he can get started in something.

Does anybody know how we'd start to do this? Any advice would be greatly welcome.

I'm not sure what to say here. Perhaps you could check websites for various major league teams and maybe see if they have open tryouts? What about playing for a college? Other than that, couldn't tell you...

Try this website, check back often. This has a schedule for 2006, I am sure they will update it for 2007, this spring.... Hope this kelps.
