My sister's Dorm was right in one of those buildings looking over the Field, when I visted her there I had no idea that i was looking at the old stands of a park Babe Ruth and many other greats played in!

 Interesting to see the profile head on the right sleeve. I thought for a second the negative had been flipped, but the "B" is straight and you can see that the "Braves" and tomahawk are right.

I love the striped socks. The Braves sported them again a few years ago when Mike Remlinger was with the team. He and Chipper wore them high like that. Mike liked the stripes, Chipper didn't and Chipper is going to win most battles like that. Too bad, it's a good look.

I discovered a new image of the 1935 Boston Braves in spring training recently. I compared it to an image that I already had and discovered that they were snapped a mere seconds apart (milliseconds really)!!!
Of course, they were different sizes and taken from a slightly different angle. So, I played around resizing/cropping/contrasting them etc., and came up with this...what may be the only animated image of this moment. What I did was essentially make what's called a "stereoscopic" animation, using the .GIF image format. It has a cool 3-D effect (I think). I've done a bunch of other vintage baseball ones...from flip-books and pictures. I might start a brand-new thread to showcase them. Enjoy! ~B

I love that monogram. And the socks.
