My friend just returned from Florida, where he spent part of a day at May Abram's house. He said that she is doing welll both physically and mentally. She showed him scrapbooks going back to Cal's days at James Madison High School in Brooklyn, and of course with the Dodgers. One interesting fact she told him was that Cal Abrams was born in Philadelphia, because his parents wanted to use a doctor there. Soon after the delivery, they returned to Brooklyn.
