Pitcher Jack Ferry pitched for the Seton Hall Pirates in college, and then made his MLB debut for the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1910. Can you name any other players who played for the same mascot in college and in their MLB debut?
(note: many have done it at some point in their career, i.e. Warren Morris played for the LSU Tigers and eventually played for the Detroit Tigers. I'm looking for players who were drafted/debuted by the same mascot)

I would imagine the vast majority of them would be Tigers (Auburn, LSU, Princeton, etc).
Here's one:
One of my favority baseball names, Coot Veal, went to Auburn, signed as an amatuer free agent in 1952, and played for the Detroit Tigers from 1958 to 1960 (and 1963).

Although he did not immediately sign with the team, making the piece of trivia a bit out of place, here's one. Reliever Allen Watson is the only man to pitch for a college (High school? I can't remember which he was signed out of) team called the Mets and later play with the New York Mets.

I think you're right, although there are a few colleges with Cardinals, Braves, and Pirates as mascots, Tigers seems to be the most common. I did find one Cardinal, though, but it wasn't direct. Thomas Howard played for Ball State and finished his career as a St. Louis Cardinal

Bob Humphreys from the Hamden Sydney Tigers (debuted w/Detroit)
Ike Kahdot of the Haskell Indian Nations University Indians (debuted w/Cleveland)
Mike Hargrove of the Northwestern Oklahoma State Rangers (debuted w/Texas)
And from the Auburn Tigers...
Sam Barnes (debuted w/Detroit)
Billy Hitchcock (debuted w/Detroit)
Alan Koch (debuted w/Detroit)
Will try to find some more later.
