This pitcher pitched complete game wins in 3 consecutive pennant-clinching games. Who is he?

Bob Caruthers?

Not sure about him - the player in question is far more recent.

pennant-clinching meaning LCS
or division clinching
or pre-1969 no-LCS pennant clinching?

Dave Stewart?

Stewart was on the mound those days but he didn't finish.

All were in the LCS

Dave Stewart?

Stewart isn't the one I'm thinking of, but he is correct; he won game 4 of the 1988 ALCS, game 5 of the 1989 ALCS, and game 4 of the 1990 ALCS.

Incidentally, Stewart also won the final game of the 1993 ALCS.

Jim Hunter?

Nope

His name is Jim, and he's in the Hall of Fame, but he's not Jim Hunter.
