Not happy with the lack of activity and afraid that we are going down the same road as last year and so many before.
Thems that has, gits--Cubs and Dodgers $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
How do we compete?
Somebody has to do something with the economics of baseball.
Sigh!

The biggest thing is having an owner and GM willing to spend money, and spend it on the right players. Look at Detroit with the signings of Rodriguez, Ordonez and Rogers the last couple years. Not bank-breakers, but significant players. The biggest problem is there are too many businessmen running teams without interest in the product on the field. The realization the better the product, the more money it takes in hasn't set in, or any profit at all seems to be enough.
