I live in europe so I haven' many knows about baseball but if we search a cheap veteran to groom our young players, why not kenny lofton and burnitz ?

Welcome marlin fan in europe. Where in europe do you exactly live?? It's good to hear that our beloved team in black and teal has fans all over the world.
Well, to answer your question I'll tell you that the marlins are looking into building for the future, not for only next year. They are lloking for young players, and this methodology also applies to the CF job. They are looking to trade one of his starters (Nolasco if a starter gets traded) and some other young pitchers down in the farm (they have a surplus of them) to get a CF. The most likely scenario will be a trade with the interstate rivals the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and they are looking to trade either Rocco Baldelli (my favorite) or B.J. Upton to fill the CF position.

Actually, a veteran may be just what the Marlins need. The Marlins already have a young team. They are on the verge of being too young.

I totally agree with you but they don't have the cash to pursue any good CF. I'd love an Andrw Jones or Torii Hunter but that will never happen if a deal for a new stadium doesn't go through before next sseason's free agency period.

Both of those players would cost a great deal. I'd be worried about the Bullpen and look for cheap solid options at CF.

Of course the bullpen is the most critical position the fish lack of.
I think Amezaga can do the trick in CF.
I hope we can get your guy Reitsma, I think he can be pretty good in the back end of the bullpen and even close games

You guys are welcome to Reitsma. He's just not consistent enough for us.

I think he'd still be better than what we had last year.
I remember that series in ATL where the fish lost the 4 games, and the first 3 were all lost in the final at bat:grouchy
