Who could the Red Sox give YOU for Christmas?

But on a more realistic level, I would like to see the Sox sign Mark Mulder. Sure he was injured last year, and probably won't start off at 100% next year, but if they could get him for a low cost and an incentive-laden contract, I think that he would be a great pickup. I'd take him over Zito (who is still riding out the momentum from 2002) and Schmidt (who isn't getting any younger)

What player could the Red Sox pick up as "Christmas present" (or to be P.C, a "Holiday present") that would make your holiday perfect? For me, it's pretty obvious that I would want to see Ichiro to be in a Sox uniform. The guy is amazing, check out this Japanese Highlight Video. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNYROWl1WVg&mode=related&search=) Plus, with the pick-up of Okajima and the possible pick-up of Matsuzaka, the Red Sox market in Japan would be HUGE. Also, with Trot most likely gone and Manny possibly gone too, Ichiro would be an nice addition to the outfield at Fenway. So what player do you want on the Sox for Christmas?

I've always really liked Ichiro. Peavy and Gonzalez for Manny...I'd do that in a second. Obviously Matsuzaka.

I'd ask that they save money on FAs and spend that money on scouting and player development.
