From what his agent said in the article, I don't know if he would give preference to the Nats over any other team who is willing to pay the most money. If the price is right, what the heck, someone has to go out there and start.

I don't know-he didn't improve much after leaving for Milwaukee. In fact, his ERA last year was almost 5.0. Personally, I found him rather painful to watch during his short tenure with the Nats. Yes we need some quality pitching in the rotation but hopefully we can come up with someone better.

I'd take him now.
Maybe Saint-Claire can teach him how to properly filter his good but not great stuff so we can get another Ramon Ortiz minus a ton of runs hits and ERA back.
