That's my (great great?) aunt's name who played pro baseball during WWII.;)
Oops, I think it was Rita Marie Moellering.

The amazing coincidences:
My dad is a Marty Marion fan. (she's my mom's relative, and I guess actually is my second cousin, not great aunt).
Also, I live in Peoria and had no clue she played here.

Just curious... not being familiar with either one of them, is there a connection between Marion and Moellering?

No - just given the nickname because someone said she reminded them of Marty Marion - quite a common way to get a nickname in sports
