Kid Nichols is a top tier Hofer. Niekro and Newhouser also made it but their combined RSAA (631) is less than Nichols 678. Newcombe and Nettles shouldn't even be in the conversation.

Hey, let the kid dream; at that age it's lots of fun daydream, and easy to think big thoughts. And, who knows, it could happen.
I'm sure he'll be in awe just to be in the bigs if he does make it, and not really expecting to be the greatest who ever lived. But, there is so much competition, one almost has to say to oneself that "I can and will make it" in order to succeed. You can't approach a ground ball saying, "I'm not likely to catch this."
Just remember Who gave you that talent.
