Which player/manager/GM/etc. was your least favorite Indian? For me, it's undoubtfully Kevin Mitchell (he was with the Indians in 1997) and Jose Mesa. He hurt outfielder Chad Curtis' thumb in a fight and it had Curtis placed on the 15 day DL. Mitchell got released because of this.
Jose Mesa, well, it's a no brainer between his rivalry between him and well-known shortstop Omar Vizquel. Mesa even threatened to kill him. What else is there to say?

I don't know who I would pick all-time. I do know this: I am glad to get rid of Aaron Boone, and I really wish the Tribe would move Casey Blake.

Didn't know about these stories.
Without knowing this, it was Albert Belle.

Kevin Mitchell or Albert Belle, without knowledge of the Jose Mesa death threats (though with knowledge he was charged for sexual assault).

My least favorite Indian is Geronimo. He led bloody raids against several US settlements. Crazy Horse had a couple of good years, but overall, he didn't last long enough. Sitting Bull was overrated, IMHO.

My least favorite is John Redcorn.
I'm from Tecumseh country, so he gets my vote for favorite. I'm not a fan of his brother, though. So it's either The Prophet or pro wrestler Tatanka. Undefeated my foot.
There were so many players in the late seventies through the mid-eighites that just seemed . . . there. Sid Monge maybe.

Least favorite Indian IMO was former GM Frank Lane for trading Colivito and starting the infamous "curse"

John Bender, Albert "Chief" Bender's brother, and a full-blooded American Indian. John was also a pitcher, and also known as "Chief." He never made the Majors, and, unlike his kind, even-tempered brother, John was a bit loony. For example, stabbing and nearly killing his manager with a letter opener. He eventually had liver failure on the pitching mound, probably due to WAY too much booze. He thus became the only professional pitcher to die on the mound in the course of a game.
