Most likely this was taken on the Paramount lot during the production of Horse Feathers, which was released in August 1932. Monkey Business came out the previous year.

If not at the studio, this might have been at Occidental College, which was used for exterior shots. Horse Feathers is the film where Groucho is president of Huxley College and decides to upgrade the football team.

Both are great movies. Probably Paramount, I know that when
footbal teams would play in the Rose Bowl or against USC they
would visit studios and pose with stars.

Maybe someone could name the players!
