What FA's for what positions, if any, do you think the Rockies will try to get?

I think they will go for a veteran CF like Finley.

Dump King and get a lefty for the pen.

dump Hung One Kim and get a FA 5th starter or bring one up from the farm. I liked the looks of that Jimenez in the last game.

Yeah I like Salazar for CF so he might be there just needs to work on D. Also maybe get a 5th Starter and a good SRP/MRP

Yeah I liked the looks of Salazar the little I seen him at the end of the season. He can't run them down like Sullivan tho and I was hoping for a little more pop in the bat at the CF position for the 07 season.

LF: Matt Holliday
CF: Jeff Salzaar?
RF: Brad Hawpe? Jeff Baker? Platoon situation?
3B: Garrett Atkins
SS: Barmes? Matsui? Tulowitzki?
2B: Carroll? Luis A. Gonzalez?
1B: Todd Helton
C: Torrealba, and Ianetta? Closser? Ardoin?

CF - seems to be the biggest hole that needs plugging. Choo and Corey Sullivan are good defensive players, but neither has been excellent offensively.

RF - I like Hawpe here, but Baker has looked good. Hurdle might go with a platoon of Hawpe vs. RIghties and Baker vs. Lefties, but I think Hawpe should get a look at a full time position. If he still can't hit lefties, go to the platoon.

SS - Someone else probably knows more here. How did Tulowitzki do when he got called up this year? I didn't catch enough games to make a decision. The position is for sure open, though, after the way Barmes hit.

2B - Carroll played well, but the Rockies may give Matsui a look. If Gonzalez can return to the hitting form he's shown in the past, I would love to see him back.

I read that RF, C, SS and possibly 2B are platoons

Think Tulowitzki done well enough to maybe make the roster next year. Go's for the HR every swing i seen tho.

I agree with the rest of your lineup.

SP
1/Jason Jennings
2/ Aaron Cook
3/Jeff Francis
4/Josh Fogg
5/Rookie from our farm system or FA. Need to get rid of Kim.

Bullpen
I would like for them to keep Jose Mesa and get rid of Ray King. The rest of the middle relief I like except for Jeremy Afflect(sp)
