This coming Thursday, October 19th, at 10PM, the local NYC PBS station (Channel 13) will broadcast "THE 1955 WORLD SERIES - 7 DAYS of FALL".
If you live outside of the NYC viewing area, you should check your local PBS station this week, to see if they will view it.

Thanks for the info Deb. I just checked and it will be on at 9pm on Thursday on the PBS station in Seattle. Without your post I would have missed it. For sure I will be watching that show on Thursday.

Sorry about that!
Why don't you check your PBS TV listings for all of this week. Perhaps they are airing it on another day, in time another slot!

Thanks Dodger Deb for posting this tread and thanks PBS for the show. When it is time for me to send in my contribution to my local PBS station next year I will be sure to mention how much I enjoyed watching the tribute to the 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers

I get PBS Spokane and Detroit. I've checked the listings for the weekend and no luck. Oh well, it's the story of my life. A day late and a dollar short. The Dodgers still won didn't they?

ABSOLUTELY! :clapping
Sorry you didn't catch it, ColtscorrAL. Seeing it, one more time, was wonderful! The individual commentary by Duke, Clem, Newk and Oisk added a real nice touch!

Why on earth don't we get these kind of things on ESPN Classic? Instead of some great baseball history it seems all they show is "Classic" poker, pool and bowling...why not show old women blowing their social security checks at the slots?
