Even though I'm a permanent Brooklyn Dodgers loyalist, I'm happy that your society exists (something I did not know) and is keeping active.

That is good both for baseball in general and for the unfortunately receding memory of the forever-gone three-team NYC.

I wish you guys only the best.

Like we said ALL ARE WELCOME!! BUM OR NOT!!! BTW Ebts Man, I am a school teacher and wrote a trial on the Bums and Giants leaving NYC. The citizens of Brooklyn sued Walter O'Malley for attempting to take team away from Brooklyn. Judges ruled against him and made him A) sell team and owner would keep team in Brooklyn, B) fix up Ebbets Field C) Or find a suitable new location that Robert Moses and Robert Wagner would agree upon. Too bad for you that real judges couldn't have made the same ruling 50 years prior as I'm sure your heart was surely ripped out of your body when they really moved.-GMONEY

I was a member of your society several years ago, and want to rejoin. You might remember my name, Jay Gauthreaux? I had several articles published in your newsletter.

Thanks,
