Dear participants of the BBFTG, we thank you for this tremendous 2006 season which showed us what GM's were made and what you were up for.
All 30 teams will be open and we will go back to the actual MLB format, AL 16 teams and NL 14 teams, 3 division leaders and a wild card winner
The teams not controlled by any GM's will be CPU controlled, so, if anyone ever wants to join they can do so (we now have quite a few people interested in joining with no teams available.)
--No Team Threads next season, all the rosters will be in one thread.
--No more box score posting in team threads, there will again be once again ONE thread for box score posting
-- There will be much activity on our new found website BBFTG.com (Thanks to AJ again!), it will be our personal MLB.com and most likely we will have our own forum on there, so the game may continue there.
--You will be allowed a co-GM on the excpetion that he's ACTIVE
And last but not least:
YOU CAN KEEP YOUR ROSTERS FROM LAST SEASON!

Whoo hoo! I get to keep Hughes, Duncan, and the rest!
Can we make deals with the CPUs? Because Beckett for Bedard and Loewen sounds pretty good...

I want the Jays! I dont like the fact that there will be no more team threads especially considering we are having are own forum for this game and I think if we are starting over the rosters should be the way they were at the beginning.

How can we just get rid of salary cap all of a sudden? Most of the deals we made were because of cap and all the other rules. Now they are gone? I don't know if I'll be able to continue with my team then...the constant rules changes and the loss of the rest of the 2006 season is seriously way too annoying. The rules need to stay constant, otherwise the game really is dumb! Good luck with the BBFTG!

So are we starting new rosters? We should really just start all over.

I'm actually really happy with my team. The only rule change I did NOT like was the trading deadline. That one ruined the game, IMO.

Wilk wants to decrease trading sooo it will be more like the actual MLB I'm guessing. That will make it seem like a full-time trading deadline.

were starting over, great, i'll need a right fielder :ughh
cause Wily Mo Pena is gonna SUCK.
but other than that, I dont think I want to leave the astros or my roster.
I would of like to have had a little say before this was released by YL and wilk as I did try to help us during the dark ages but w/e.

It's a new league right? New players will be good and trades are like restricted now which is stupid in my opinion. If all this is true I think my mind is pretty much made up. What about all the injuries that occured? Will they start over? There's some that were extremely long and would run into 2007 season. I don't think I want to deal with all of it.

I think we shouldnt restart but keep things the way they are and just expand to 30 teams next season.

That sounds good.
Really, it does, and this offseason you can switch teams.
We'll go back to the regular MLB format.

So I really never got an answer, are we restarting the rosters or keeping the ones we currently have? I'd be much more inclined to play if we had the restart in rosters.

Since people will resign if I dump the rosters, we are keeping them :crazy
