I know you need a big bat to protect Vlad and Jason Giambi could be just that guy because the Yankees need pitching and you need a hitter. The jered Weaver idea was a little far out their but can you please list the SP's you would be willing to give up for Jason Giambi?

The only Yankee I'd be interested in is ARod, and only if the Angels had another deal on the side to replace whatever pitching we would give up. The Yankees will always be Jeter's team and Derek doesn't like ARod. With the Angels, ARod will be appreciated, he'll play for a big market team, and he'll have a shot at a ring. Makes sense for both teams and ARod to deal. :atthepc

I don't think there's any of their starters from '06 they'd be willing to trade straight up for Giambi. MAYBE Colon, I guess. Lackey and Escobar are too good, and the rest of their guys are too young to deal for a guy who'll be 36 next season.

A 36 year old steriod user DH/Bad defensive first baseman... Hmmm.. Which piece of the rotation to give up for him.. oh, AND he's overpaid.

I think if I am willing to take on Giambi's salary then it is up to the Yanks to give me more rather than me giving them anything of value in return. See Abreu Trade.

I really don't know what no one cared about this actually. CJ Henry is a pretty damn good prospect that everyone seems to have forgotten.

The Yanks need pitching, they don't need to exchange two OFers for another two OFers

Rick Ankiel?
Yeah no kidding. Who in their right mind would give up any young pitching for a drink lover, and juicer making close to 20 million a year? By the way, isn't Ankiel trying to make it as a left fielder?

I personally would never trade for Giambi with that wrist of his.
