hi, is it better to keep your body still b4 the pitch or have or legs and arms sway.

Most hitters start to move prior to the ball being released. Usually the trigger is the pitchers arm starting to go up and back. When the arm goes back, the hitter starts his movement in a very controlled manner.

If you haven't moved by the time the ball has been released, it's usually too late to stride AND swing on time.

thanks 4 the reply but i didnt mean the stride, i was just saying when u step in the box and the pitchers staring in on you is it better to move ur arms around and sway your legs or just 1 or the other or just keep ur body still and then stride

Well, you wanna stay loose in the box, but you don't want it to interfere with your ability to hit the baseball. So I'd say do whatever makes you feel comfortable. Do whatever you want to keep you loose before the pitcher starts to wind up.

Edited: Unless you are talking about what to do as the pitcher is in his windup or whatever (like loading or what not), then disregard this.
