We better hope D'Angelo Jimenez can pick up the slack because it doesn't look like Ellis is going to be able to play anymore. :(

According to the article I read it's a fracture, and he may be able to play in future series depending on how bad it is. Seems like this happens every year, what with Jermaine Dye and Mark Mulder a few years ago. Maybe D'Angelo will surprise us all like Scutaro did.

You read my mind HH. It seems every year there's something that goes wrong. Ellis has really been bitten by the injury bug the past couple seasons.

Ah. That sounds a bit out of Chavez's realm to play SS. They'll have to stick with Scutaro at SS and Jimenez at 2B. Not sure who else who they have on the roster, I should probably look.

do you think if they put Omar Vizquel in at shortstop :laugh and said he was some guy from Sacramento, :laugh and moved Scutaro back to 2nd anyone would notice ? Joe Morgan would probably say something and blow the whole scam... because Joe thinks he knows everything...and what he doesn't know Jon Miller thinks he does....

Omar huh? I like him and all, but he's on the wrong side of the bay. I hope by some miracle that Ellis can swing bat by the time we get to the WS.
