Any one have a real good recovery process? I looked it up online and all the best places say ice and lots of time off... haha I ice after practice but being in fall tryouts I have no time to have time off right now... Thanks!

Unfortunately, the best cure is to rest it. If you keep putting stress on it while it is hurt, it just gets worse.

I can attest to this. I had tendonitis in my arm my senior year. Figured, hell, its my last year, no time to rest. Played with it, iced like hell, but my arm was messed up, and the muscle atrophied, because working with tendonitis make sth emuscle weaker, and then you have to rest it longer. What used to be a cannon is now merely a gun.

I developed tennis elbow in my right arm after a fairly long day of chainsawing a couple big trees. I tried going on doing the things I normally do but just kept reaggravating it. I iced a lot and used anti-inflammatories but nothing fixed it until I took a long period of time off from any exertional activity with that arm. It finally took care of itself after about two years of recuring pain. I'm now very careful with warming up and not overusing.

jbooth has it right, rest is the only cure I'm aware of.
