Ryan Zimmerman started at 3rd base for the 150th game this season. He becomes the 4th rookie in the past 40 years to play at least 150 games at 3rd base. Who are the other 3 players to accomplish this feat?

He actually only played 155 games at 3rd. That is the question, right? Games played at 3rd in the rookie season?

Hmph. Seitzer was nine games short. No on him.

KCGH0ST has gotten the other two.

And I do stand corrected on my previous post.

Here are the answers:

Coco Laboy - 1969 Expos played 156 games at 3rd base
Scott Rolen - 1997 Phillies played 155 games at 3rd base
Ty Wigginton - 2003 Mets played 155 games at 3rd base

I will have to come up with harder questions in an attempt to stump you.

Interesting that if you go back 43 years instead of 40 you'd include:

1963 Max Alvis - 158 games
1963 Bob Bailey - 153 games
1963 Pete Ward - 154 games
1964 Richie Allen - 162 games
1965 Paul Schaal - 153 games
