A post about voting percentages got me thinking: What would an all-time team look like based on the percentage of first-ballot votes they received? This is what I came up with:
C- Johnny Bench (96.42)
1B- George Sisler (85.77)
2B- Rod Carew (90.52)
3B- George Brett (98.19)
SS- Honus Wagner (95.13)
RF- Hank Aaron (97.83)
CF- Ty Cobb (98.23)
LF- Carl Yastrzemski (94.68)
SP- Tom Seaver (98.84)
RP- Hoyt Wilhelm (83.80)
I don't think anyone's all-time list looks too much like this. I know mine doesn't.

With Sisler, Carew belong nowhere near A or B teams, but Yaz and Brett could make a B team.

I'd put Ted Williams and Stan Musial in Left Field on my A and B teams.

that's still a pretty darn good baseball team. i'd think they would win a few games over the course of a 162 game season.

Well, how would it stack up to (only eligible BEFORE this upcoming ballot):
C: Yogi Berra (picked right one)
1B: Lou Gehrig
2B: (pick one) Joe Morgan, Eddie Collins, Nap Lajoie, Rogers Hornsby, Charlie Gehringer...
3B: Mike Schmidt
SS: Robin Yount, George Davis or Arky Vaughan (no question picked right one)
LF: (pick one) Ted Williams, Stan Musial
CF: Willie Mays or Mickey Mantle (very debatable, obviously)
RF: Babe Ruth (for only RF, probably picked right one, but overall did not.)
SP: (pick one) Walter Johnson, Lefty Grove, Cy Young, Grover Alexander, Christy Mathewson

Gehrig really shouldn't be on this list, as he was in via a special election. He very well could have topped Sisler had he been on the regular ballot.

So you'd rather I put Foxx on the list, instead.

Put either Jimmie Foxx or Lou Gerigh at first, Nap Lajioe at second, and Wade Boggs, Eddie Mathews or Mike Schmidt at third.
Also, Cy Young as SP and Hoyt Wilhem as RP.

The only ones I'd agree with on there are Wagner and Cobb, and Aaron if you want to DH Ruth or put him in LF.
