I have to say, that is a very impressive season. Everything a person could want in a batter is right there, but he still needs to strike out less. ;) Congratulations are in order to him, though. :)

He was having such an MVP season. I give hats off to him for making the position change, and doing well with that, and you can't forget about his bat.....that took some shots this year.
Way to go Alfonso Soriano!

Great stuff. But his 20+ outfield assists shouldn't be overlooked either.

With this, before the standard was 40-40, now its 40-40-40, impressive.
BTW, only one member is member of the 500-500-500 club.

Soriano has produced great despite all the changes he made:
AL to NL (doesn't know as many pitchers)
Hitter's park to pitcher's park
Second base to left field
Strong supporting case to lousy lineup behind him (first half of season, Lopez-Johnson-Zimmerman-Kearns isn't too shaby of protection now)

The guy you're talking about is also the only member of the 500-500 club and to my knowledge the only member of the 400-400 club.

That is also correct.
And is he plays next year, he will have a 500-500-500-2000-2000-2000

I bash all those pro guys who predicted he'd have a .283, 23 HR, 76 RBI season with 32 SB and that RFK would "HURT" his power.
