Chris Young has one more inning left to complete the 2nd no-hitter of the season...

In tonight's game between the Pittsburgh Pirates and San Diego Padres at Petco Park,Mike Piazza hit his 1st triple since 2002.It was a stand-up triple off one of the nooks and crannies in deep left center.

Also,Pads starter Chris Young is 3 outs away from doing something that no Padres pitcher has ever done before.;)

Pads lead 6-0 in the bottom of the 8th.

There is no reason to not say it, I mean I only heard it 5 times during Sportscenter, and another 6 times from the commentators doing the game

I noticed that he was starting to run out of gas myself.

But a great effort though by Young.:clapping

ESPN cut in after the 1st out, and from that point on it looked like he just didn't have much left.

Nah he wasnt running out of gas... he only had thrown 91 pitches... Was just trying too hard

ESPN also had it on in the 8th inning

Dont blame ESPN for blowing the no-no, you think its easy to pitch a no-hitter or carrying it to the 9th inning, when I saw Randa on deck I said to myself, he can break it, I had that feeling, sadly it was right, I wanted to see that no-hitter as well, and BTW, he had a no-no broken up to open the 8th inning against the Rockies.

Looks like he found the Joker in the deck.

I was at both games this year where he took it into the 8th and 9th inning respectively,.... guy the man can pitch very well, its so odd too cuz his stuff really isnt that great if you talk velocity, but i think his height adds alot of decpetion.
