Don't be fooled by the recent end of the season wins. going on for over 10 to 12 yrs now, only to followed by extreme disappointments the following spring. Don't care what talent they have currently. Unless or until McCrutchey decides to sell the team, and we actually get a Mgr with some balls that knows what He's doing, forget bout ever having a contender here.

Oh wait, let me guess. We'll be shooting for 500 again next season.

Those of us that go back far enough and remember well, 500 would have been an insult. To the powers that be, its a world series. when are true fans EVER going to wake up to these facts???:noidea

on the bright side we should finish above 500 in the 2nd half for the first time in a while. Next few years look brighter to me...hell, cant get much worse.

Well, Boss go back a little further than that to the Kiner-Garagiola Pirates and they sucked then, too. It has nothing to do with "true fans" or "waking up" or you being the only one to realize what's going on. But it has a lot to do with having a management team that knows what the hell its doing. McClatchey-Littlefield isn't it.
