I dunno...sort of sounds like Mirabelli didn't want to be traded in the first place (from the Red Sox)...

He didnt. He loves Boston. Reguards the NL as the "minor leagues". Mirabelli isnt much better than Towers.
You expect players to trash talk each other. For a schmuck like Towers to do it shows a lack of class. How the hell did Mirabelli become a topic of conversation for Towers????

Well im sure a reporter brought it up. Its not likely that Towers said "Hey you want to know what i think about that bum Mirabelli??"
Still, the fact that Towers said anything shows what a classless jerk he is.
