I keep hearing about the renovations the Royals are getting made to Kauffman Stadium. What are they? Do they actually mean anything to die-hard baseball fans who don't care about the stadium? Thanks.

There is a possibility they may move the fences in again to accommodate some of the the changes. An absolutely idiotic idea considering the quality of the Royals pitching.
If you don't care about stadiums then what's to worry about? The stadium will still have seats that face the field.

More shopping plazas, arcades, food courts, wider concourses, more picnic areas etc.

The royals will have one good team in a couple of years. They have a great GM, no power and contact. Everyone watch!

Uh. They're doing this to attract fans.

The renovation will add seats currently occupied by the current team bullpens. Because of this, the team bullpens will move from "Outfield" to "Traditional" - they will be located at the foul lines, hence the name Traditional. What can be beat with Fountain seating? Royals Hall of Fame, Sluggerrr's House, "Little K," Royals Pavilion, resturants, and there's so much happening to Kauffmann Stadium. It's great to see the stadium where the 1985 Royals won the World Series makes a transformation to rival other ballparks. I'm definately going to The K before and after the renovation.

I hope they don't move the fences in. I cringe every time I hear about a stadium possibly moving fences in. If anything, move them out in some cases. I think it should be a challenge to hit a home run. I have heard some Mariner fans say they ought to move in the fences at Safeco, but I hope they don't.
