There is one exception do this though, Reed Johnson is with the Blue Jays for 07, which means Ricky_Hendrickson is in looking for a team. And there is a lot of good teams still out there!

we try to be at the same time in our game as in MLB. We use real players.
the only problem with the time right now, is we are a little behind, the playoffs start this weekend for us. Once the playoffs are over, we will start looking at the 07 offseason and you will gain control of your team with the roster provided by YL. Now the roster I think for the A's is as of 4/1/06. The Tigers, well the guy did some trading and the team isn't the same :laugh You can take a look at their roster by going to their team thread (if it is not on page 1, check page 2.)

The jays are pretty much open, the old gm hasn't signed on BBF in a while, the last time (Reed Johnson) signed on was like october.

If he comes back, I don't know what we would do though. We can just say he wasn't active enough.

yea, GM/Manager. Then the games get simulated unlike fantasy baseball leagues where your teams score is based on how the players played in real life.

then you can set the guys up to who you want on your 25 man roster

If you go to the daily report thread, you can see who they have had on the 25 man roster and how they have done (by looking at box scores)

you can only have 6 pitchers in your bullpen with a 5 man rotation (yea mogul can be evil) As an AL team you will have 5 guys on your bench

The salarys are incorrect, you would go and look them up, but not for a while, not until you are more involed and have a better understanding of the game. The contract lengths are correct though. (In the 2006 season, the 1st season of BBFTG, we only used 20 teams. The A's were one of the teams we added when we went to all 30 for 2007. Do to this, we decided to have all the players on the new teams who's contracts were expire, expire at the end of the 07 season. This is why Zito is still on your team)
