The only players since 1940 to have 200 hits in 4 straight seasons. How about that? Pretty amazing company to keep

Michael Young has kind of gone under the radar. I'm sure if this was a trivia question a lot of people wouldn't have been able to guess him. Very impressive.

And not a lot of people know that he was last year's batting champ, and this year's all-star game MVP.

It's rather hard to believe that Gwynn didn't do it.

Injuries prevented him from doing it.

M's fans shouldn't forget his name... we get burned by him a lot. The same with Garret Anderson and Raffy Palmeiro - they always found a way to stick it to the M's in crucial moments.

Young is a special hitter - if he keeps this up, he should be a star like Gwinn and Boggs (you'll be seeing those "How does he get so many hits" type ESPN segments on this guy).

He's been underrated his whole career. An outstanding player that gets lost in the AL.

Gets lost in his own team, where they have Carlos Lee, Gary Matthews Jr, and even Teixeira as well, Young deserve a lot more appreciation from the baseball fans outside of Arlington, and ESPN as well.

He certainly does and will

And a future all-star game starter if not being a shortstop in the AL, but still is a good player, and a underrated hitter.
