Sit down. Get a glass of ice water before you read this.
Rookie pitcher, Rich Hill of the Chicago Cubs pitched a 2-hit, complete-game shutout, over the Cincinnati Reds. Hill walked one and struck out 10. It was the FIRST complete game by the Cubs' staff.
Just goes to show, anything can happen in baseball.

I am very impressed by Hill right now. Just a month ago my friends and I were discussing how good he was in AAA compared to how terrible he had been in the bigs. We were saying that he had lots of tools but was never going to put them together in the majors. Hill's last three or four starts, however, have changed my mind. He has been excellent.

Not that amazing. It's the Reds. They have no offense (6 hits over 2 games). Batting .227 in Sept. And if it wasn't for Brandon Phillips, the Reds would have been no-hitted.
