Welcome to the BBF Red Sox Hall of Fame.
Here are the rules:
Anyone who posts regularly in the Red Sox forum is welcome to vote.
We will elect two members every week until we start electing guys who have no place.
Vote based on each player's contribution to the Red Sox as a player. Only vote based on their time with the Red Sox. e.g. we should not see Babe Ruth first place on the first ballot.
Name five players on each ballot who you would like to elect. Points will be set up like this:
First place: 15
Second place: 12
Third place: 8
Fourth place: 4
Fifth place: 1

I just dont like the guy, period. I'm sure he'll get in without my vote, but he wont get in with my vote.
And he made Reese leave when he was a player, because he didnt want Reese to take his job.

Sorry, :ughh . I thought he had his entire career with the Red Sox, when he played for the Senators a bit before. Not as valuable to the Red Sox as I thought.

Hey, Cronin's going to be on my next ballot. So's Rice. Both excellent players, just Cronin has been downgraded in most people's minds because of his inablity to manage or play defense.

Its doesn't totally have to do with his playing career.
Erik Bedard
10-12-2006, 01:00 PM
Yes, yes, but this election DOES totally have to do with his playing career. And there was another infielder for the Sox who was as good, if not better than Rico IMO: Frank Malzone.
EvanAparra
10-12-2006, 01:17 PM
I meant his actual hitting and fielding... I liked him for his intangibles, being a good teammate and such.
