Is it my imagination, or do the Rangers seldom score after the 6th inning?

Why is that? Lack of a big RBI man or do they just wear down? They seem to get runners on but lack that big hit even when their big guns come up with runners in scoring position. And Carlos Lee hasn't seemed to help much at crunch time.

I agree. I think it partially has something to do with the fact that the heat may be getting to them. I mean, there has been days out here in Arlington that it was 107 at 4pm, and still 98 at 9pm.

If you look at our record, we are much better on the road too. I think the Texas heat wears these batters out a little bit. But, none-the-less, the Rangers lineup is VERY inconsistant and has under-performed byfar this year.

On the other end, the pitching is awful after the 6th inning as well. I noticed we cant hold a lead, especially after being up 6 to 2 against Oakland yesterday. I get nervous when we have a 3 point lead going down the home stretch.

I think Tom Hicks and Jon Daniels need to make a big move and soon. I dont think Showalter is helping much either.
