this is a 2 question, question....
With the call up of Andrew Miller after 3G in the Florida league. Who is the pitcher with the least minor league expierence, before making a MLB appearence? Also, has a pitcher ever pitched in the playoffs, that has also pitched in the college WS in the same season?
I don't know the answers, I hope someone does?

For least minor league experience, several pitchers including Bob Feller, I believe, went straight to the majors.

There are a few with none, like Clyde Wright

David Clyde got thrown to the wolves by the Rangers in 1973. To be specific, it was owner Bob Short who rushed the 18-year-old phenom, over the objections of Whitey Herzog -- something I hadn't known until I read this nice article.

Jim Abbott went straight to the majors. I think he went to the minors later, though.

Sandy Koufax was a bonus baby who never spent any time in the Minors.

I think Craig Hansen recently pitched in the MLB playoffs and in NCAA ball... probably wrong, though.

Todd Van Poppel went straight to the Majors...and we all know what happened to him.
