The 2006 World Series returns to Fort Myers, Florida, Saturday, October 21
through Saturday, November 18.
Roy Hobbs Women's Division: October 25 thru October 29:
Play begins October 25 evening (depending on number of teams);
championship on October 29, morning game. Open age group.
I've been to this event 3 times and I'm going again this October. It's definitely a great time, is great experience, and is very competitive. Some of the best current female baseball players in the U.S. play here. Games are at the spring training facilities of the Minnesota Twins and the Boston Red Sox... each team having 1-2 games in the stadiums (all other games are on the practice fields and some are at Terry Park... old spring training complex). We get to use the batting cages of the facilities as well.
