He's always seemed like a decent hitter. Does anyone know why he doesn't get much playing time?

He has good speed and plays well defensively. He was a career ~.290 hitter coming into this season, which quite good.

Unfortunantly, he struggled mightly at the beginning of this year, hitting below .200 and could not seem to raise the average up. When Jamey Carroll came over, that was it for his playing time, because Carroll immediately started tearing the cover off the baseball.

Hopefully he can turn things around, because as much as I like Jamey Carroll, I don't think he's the Rockies 2B of the future.

Have you noticed how many 2B of the past are in the playoffs? Todd Walker, Bellhorn , Neifi, Miles, and Belliard that I can think of. I don't know the reason the Rockies can't keep a good keystone dual.

And we got Jasyon Nix coming up w/ Matsui and Carroll so he gets no playing time
