With this afternoon's 8-5 win over the Diamondbacks,the Florida Marlins become the 1st team in baseball history to climb above the .500 mark after being 20 games under.

The Marlins,who are now 69-68 on the season,were 11-31 on May 21.This is the 1st time this season that the Marlins are above the .500 mark.

As of this post,the Fish are 1 1/2 games behind San Diego for the NL Wild Card.

Well, I did bet a $1 with someone that the Reds would make the playoffs and then with another person $1 that they wouldn't. But I really didn't make a bet with anyone else. I'm just a really pissed fan (of the Reds).

I guess that's some smart gambling. Unless you like winning, but at least you can't lose.

We lost today but we are still in it. Hope more guys would've come out to the park but it was pouring down here all freaking day. I think we are in good shape for tomorrow and Anibal Sanchez..........but i though we were in good shape today.
