Please don't be, please don't be...Scott Kazmir may miss rest of season

I really don't want Scott Kazmir to be out for the season, despite having a great year with the Devil Rays. It said on CBS Sportsline, MLB injuries that Kazmir might be out for the season with the elbow injury he sustained this week. If this happens, then this season is meaningless. As if it wasn't already, since the Rays are in line for another losing season. I really wish they acquired Jim Edmonds during the trading deadline to help bolster their offense.

In the next few years, I want to see the Rays OUT of the cellar and INTO contention.

wouldn't it be best to shut kazmir down and make sure he gets healthy for next year? i had to see such a talent ruin his future for a few more starts this season

It's best to play it safe. Shut him down now and let him come back next season.
