Catcher,
Thanks for pointing that out. Cut and paste is helpful, but editing is sometimes necessary--and I forgot the last step. The editing has now been done.

Jacques Doucet: He was for 33 years, from 1972 to 2004, the legendary French radio play-by-play voice for the Montreal Expos. Over his career, Doucet described more than 5,500 Major League Baseball games
Hes the most important icon in association with the Expos. He also did a tremendous and essential job while taking part in the translation of an American baseball game to a different language and culture. He generated passions, dreams, emotions, love for baseball for every French-Canadian-baseball-and-Expos-fans.
For us, he's as important as Mel Allen and Red Barber.

I made one concession to the log jam, dropping Hardy Richardson, who debuted on my ballot last month (and mine was his only vote), and adding Bill Freehan. That's about all I can do, since I'm already voting for the seven guys who finished ahead of Freehan.
A new record for average months on my ballot, 7.9 up from 7.0. This will likely grow as the electorate and mysef differ on whom we see as the Hall's lower tier. The top five that I think the electorate is missing: 1) Lou Whitaker, 2) George Gore, 3) Red Faber, 4) Darrell Evans, 5-tie) Bid McPhee and Bobby Wallace.
