This weekend will be HUGE. I hope we turned it around last night. We take 3 of 4 from Det and then drop 3 of 4 to TB?

diehardmariner, please be nice when you post. We're a site to talk about baseball, not "talking trash about other teams" baseball. Talking trash about other teams and people on their subforums (i.e. Boston Red Sox) is not a good way to get reputation here.
As for the Texas Rangers, I think they have been doing pretty good. They play in a tough division, and they have the Achilles' Heel: starting pitching. I understand that some of them are rookies, but it gets frustrating during the summer in over 100°F weather, where there's no room to cool off.

Agreed. I work out at Ameriquest Field and I can honestly say ive never been hotter then on a 1:05 start on a Sunday afternoon.
But, after last night, I am losing hope in this season. When you give up 9 runs to a team who shouldnt score 9 runs and you only cash in 3 in the bottom of the 9th, bad things happen. Once again I might find myself saying, "Maybe next year."

They don't get away with that on this site. No one does.
However, I don't see where you are talking trash in your post. Seems fine to me. Some are a little more sensitive than others.

It just didn't come together for the Rangers this year. I don't know why both Blalock and Teixeira both had much lower than expected production.

That's why one should actually read the thread and the associated post before jumping to any conclusion. I see the thread as being rah rah rah. No problems with that.

No, but as a moderator I need to make sure everything's on an even keel. Someone, not you, jumped the gun on this thread.
