Hi
I am a baseball ticket stub collector. I am trying to find one last stub to close out my astros collection. I need a season ticket holder type ticket to game 4 (marked home game 2) of the 1999 division series played at the astrodome. Ticket should have little or no creasing and have its raincheck firmly attached. Can anyone offer me any leads? Thank you for your time.
PS I should have mentioned that I will buy or trade. I have lots of extra astros playoff stubs both home and away from most years that they were in the playoffs. thanks again.

Wow, that's a pretty tough stub you're after. I think your best bet would be eBay, but you may have to wait a while. I just looked there and found a '99 Game 1 stub for sale, so there IS hope!
Best of luck to you, and come back to visit. :)

I was at that game, hoarse and a zombie like most because it was at noon and the "Walt Weiss" game the night before had run very loud and very late. Not sure if I've got my stub, sometimes I keep 'em and sometimes I don't, but I'll check. I wasn't a full season-ticket holder that year, had a couple of mini-plan seats, but I bought the whole playoff strips which I imagine were the same.

Greemer, you're in luck, I have two stubs from that game, thanks to my lovely wife who maintains a stash of such ephemera; these have sentimental value to her because they're from before we were married.
They're our upper deck seats, and have no "creases" in the sense of white lines, just some gentle bends, with rain checks completely attached. Kind of amazing they survived our pockets so well.
There's no way I will part with both - this was the very last Major League baseball game played at the Astrodome, which has historical value, not to mention the sentimental value to a longtime diehard Astros fan like me. We lost, I remember Brian Jordan having a big game for the Braves, but we played tough, I also remember a clutch RBI double by Ken Caminiti that kept us in it.
Please PM me if you're interested -
