I believe that with Little League, college ball and other forms of baseball below the Minor League level are gaining greater attention here, that a separate forum could be created for them, rather than placing these into Current Events.

This has been discussed here previously. Anyone still interested?

Thanks. :)

This is a contribution to the Amateur Baseball thread. Here's a list of amateur games lasting 20 or more innings, listed by state, developed over the past 44 years of research.

I'm positive that many such games are MISSING from the list, mostly because most amateur games are not reported in the media.

Does anyone know of any games OMITTED from the list, or any errors, or any of the missing info? If so, please let me know and share with this thread's readers. Thank you very much.

Dear sir:
I came across this forum and your mention of a 1933 game in the Orange Belt League in Florida. My grandfather, Joshua A. Albritton, was manager of the Bowling Green Growers in the Orange Belt League from at least 1934 until his death in 1948 (before my birth). I would like to learn more about the Orange Belt League, but I don't know where to begin. If you can offer any help, I would greatly appreciate it. Please email to bamaeyedoc@hughes.net
Many thanks,
Robert Carden, O.D.

RI 20 inning game

If it was a sunset league game it was in Newport, RI at Cardines Field. If it wasn't there it wasn't a sunset game.
